RADIO PSY PODCAST # 31 com DJ ANNELI (PHANTASM REC/SWEDEN) + DJ RODRIGO CPU (PEAK REC./BRASIL)
Continuando com nossa série de destaques do Festival Universo Paralello 08, dj set da dj ANNELI (PHANTASM REC/SWEDEN) e DJ RODRIGO CPU (PEAK/BRASIL) .

In 1998 I found out that I could combine my passion for music with work and began playing at nightclubs in Sweden, but it was already in 1994 I discovered the electronic dance music in an underground Goatrance party!
I am open-minded about music styles and I think this is one of my strengths as a DJ. I always strive to find the perfect track for the instant moment on the dancefloor, not to please my own wishes, but for giving the dancing people what they want/need! At the moment I prefer to play psychedelic trance with my special twist and progressive/electro house.
The goal with my sets is to communicate with the dancefloor, to feel the connection with the crowd so I could give them an unforgettable experience through the music. I play carefully chosen tracks full of energy which make me smile and I want to make the crowd dance with a big smile on their lips too!
Today I am lucky to be a part of the Phantasm rec team and get bookings around the world, for example at festivals like Universo Paralello in Brazil, Fullmoon Festival in Germany and Burningman in the Nevada desert! Everywhere I meet wonderful people and do my best to make them smile. During the years I’ve been playing in 20 countries, and hopefully more countries (and continents) will be a part of my “office” in the future!

Daniel Carcur Arredondo (Ital): musician of chilean origin, sound engineer, producer of Psytrance music and dj, has been in contact for more than 17 years in the musical world, starting his carrier like a guitar player, going through several styles of popular music, until he arrived to his true passion: Psychedelic trance music. He started the year 2001 with his friend Andrés Rodillo with whom he got involved into the production of Psytrance electronic music, forming one of the pioneering projects of the local scene: “Metatron”. In the beginning, experimenting with samplers, synthetizers and audio softwares allowed them to introduce themselves in the national electronic world, playing live and with great success in different places of the country. Three years later, in 2004, he decided to create his own project, “ITAL” , that in Patois african dialect it means PURITY, and which he uses to promote himself in different scenes of Chile and South America. Because of this, each production of ITAL has like fundamental concept the expansion of all the purity that surrounds us, canalizing through music all this divine and universal energy that surrounds us to be given and to be projected like sound waves towards our surrounding universe. His style is characterized for being a Full on groove serious with a very own character and style, full of atmospheres, futuristics & metallic sounds and much sicodelia. With 8 years of musical experience and experimentation, Ital has been presented in the most important events of his country (Chile) and also in some of the great recognized Festivals world-wide like Universo Paralello 5,7 & 8, Tranceformation 2004, Fora do tempo, Earthdance 4,5,6,7,8,9, Montemapu and Amazontribe. He works for the english label Free Spirit Records, created by Jay Om, which today is one of the most recognized psytrance label from England, which is composed by great artists like Journey, M-theory, Star Trip, M-Klome, among others. He has shared scene with big name projects from the national and international trance present scene from all the continents, among them: Zen mechanics, Headroom, 28, Flip Flop, Burn in noise, Tristan, The First Stone, Altom, S-Range, Dickster, E-jekt, Tikal, Wrecked machines, Penta, Rinkadink, M-theory, Protoculture, Ace Ventura, Liquid soul, Perfect Stranger, among others…. He has already realesed music in several compilations under Enzyme, Morphonic, Moonsun, Freeze magazine, Yellow sunshine explotion labels. Soon you will enjoy the full ITAL album that shows all the maturity and energy of this outstanding national musician will be enjoyed. Since september 2007 he begin the first psytrance Chilean label denominate: “ Antu Records ” Which name comes from the indigean Chilean language that means SUN. Our propuse and intention is to expand the light and divine energy all over the world thoght the Psytrance music, to conect our selfs with our roots and feel our hearts full of spiritual healing. After his Brazil tours in 2007, Ital began his new musical production destinate to produce his first full album, which is expected for june 2008 under the Chilean record label Antu Records. The distribution will be by Beatspace & Arabesque Uk. Also he realese an digital EP "Ital - activation energies" on march 2008 by Planet Ben Records Germany. Em 2003 , depois de ouvir estudar, produzir e adiquirir equipamentos de ultima geracao. Tarciso Mainardi e Marcelo Espindola decidiram q estavam prontos para comecar seu projeto.... assim nasceu o Killer Buds. O som se caracteriza como Full on night high-energy powertrace, linhas agressivas e psicodelicas com thundering basslines e muita rasgadeira ,tudo isso mixado numa producao clean e proficional de alta qualidade. O som e menos experimental que seu outro projeto Insect seeker , mas nao menos interessante , o objetivo aqui e fazer a dancefloor bombar e viajar em pura explosao mental !!! A dupla lancou inumeras tracks ao redor do mundo em diversas garvadoras. Em 2005 saiu seu primeiro album " Interfiber Skunk " pela gravadora portuguesa Ketuh Records e o sengndo " Synthetic Vision " a ser lancado pela gravdora BeyondLogic Records da India berco do psytrance, eles tambem lancaram uma V.A " Tropical Stom " pela gravadora brasileira W.F.C colocando diversos artistas brasileiros na cena psytrance. Seu estilo orginal deixou sua marca estampada na cena mundial nos ultimos anos e sua influencia vem crascendo a cada dia. Em 2005 e 2006 relaizaram turnes pela europa para promover seu som , tocaram em clubs e festivais em paises como Franca , Belgica , Portugal , Holanda e Noroega. Prepare suas mentes para um encontro extra dimensional que continua levando ao delirio massivo todos os dancefloor por onde passa !!!!!
In 2003, after studying, listening, composing and acquiring last generation equipment, Tarcisio and Cochi decided they were ready to start their own project... that’s how Killer Buds was born. Their sound is high-energy powertrance, filled with stomping powerfull kicks, ripping synths and thundering basslines, all mixed up in a powerful and professional production. The sound is less experimental then their other side-project Insect Seeker, but sure not less interesting, and made with only one goal: To rip every crowd apart in pure mental bliss! Killer Buds is a project that is satisfied only with the highest quality in their tunes, whether it's in the music it self or in the use of last generation equipment for the most outstanding and powerfull production. Melodic and aggressive sounds are some of the characteristics that go way past the traditional line known in most psy-trance nowadays. The are presenting different rhythms and grooves, without loosing track in senseless experimentation. The duo relised many tracks in compilations for many labels wordwide and made their own compitalion "Tropical Storm" in the brasilian label WFC and one album Interfiber Skunk. Killer Buds is a project that is strongly putting a mark on the psy-trance scene on the map worldwide in the last couple of years and their influence is increasing everyday. In 2005 and 2006 they have toured through many countries in Europe to promote their powerfull sound, some of the countries visited were Belgium, France, Holland, Portugal and Norway. After the unforgettable live act in new years for 10500 people at Universo Paralello the biggest festival in Brasil they will relise their second album: Synthetic Vision on the indian label Beyond logic.
